What is man?

Man was intended as the footstool, support and resting place of Shechinah.

Gen 1:26(KJV): And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish….

Ps 8:4(KJV): What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
